This is a challenging and fun week! Participants learn Musical theatre numbers involving singing, dancing and acting through song, and as well as script work. They will be inspired and empowered with the knowledge that they gain from the week, we look forward to leading them on this journey.
Open to all students between 6 – 18 years, we perform on stage in the Sundial theatre at on the Friday afternoon to an invited audience.
Age Groups:
Times: 9.30am – 4:00pm
Ages – 7-21 years
Each day is a standalone workshop with different industry professionals and experienced teachers working on a variety of styles during the week.
A sharing of work to parents and friends takes place at the end of each day at 3:45pm.
Styles include, Tap, Commercial dance, Jazz, Musical theatre dance, Contemporary, Choreography. Improvisation, Modern theatre dance, lyrical, street dance & ballet.
Age Groups:
*Skills week does require some previous knowledge of dance.
Workshop Teachers will vary each year depending on availability
