Miss Laura Hall

Laura has been dancing since the age of 4, she has studied Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Street, Musical theatre and Contemporary dance. Laura studied professionally for four years in dance and musical theatre. She started at Swindon College Town Hall, progressing to Bodyworks Cambridge Performing Arts School. She also enjoys cheerleading, choreography, performing and open call auditions. Laura is currently completing her ISTD Diploma in dance education for Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre dance at Dance Academy South West. Laura has performed in many dance shows and has danced professionally for corporate events. Among her early training experiences, Laura performed with the Royal Ballet at the Bath theatre Royal and took part in a one day Ballet workshop taught and choreographed by Wayne Sleep.

Laura discovered her love for teaching when she was working with “The Cheerleading Company” South West, where she gained the NCSSE Cheer & Dance Coaching Principles & Ethics qualification in cheerleading. Laura enjoys choreographing, and working all students to the highest standard. Laura very excited to be working with CCDA, and has enjoyed choreographing and seeing the students grow during the year.

Laura regularly attends ISTD examination board CPD courses to keep up to date changes within the syllabus.
