Teacher
Miss Alice was a CCDA student from 2000, in which period she achieved her ISTD exams to advanced vocational level. Miss Alice taught for CCDA from 2015 having started her teaching as a maternity cover on a Monday at the South Cerney branch, Alice built up her teaching to taught 5 days a week before studying Musical Theatre at the University of Chichester and achieving her first-class degree.
Miss Alice took her passion for performing and for teaching to Chichester, and was regularly chosen to be the assistant choreographer for in-house productions, even when performing in the production herself. She took part in 6 productions a year whilst studying and in her final year she successfully auditioned to played the romantic lead of Hope Harcourt in 'Anything Goes' under Ed Burnside (Resident director of 'Matilda').
Since 2020, Miss Alice has further trained in Burlesque teaching, alongside obtaining her PGCE in Secondary Education and has been working as an English teacher for the past three years; Miss Alice has a great passion for dance and singing, and will be masterminding the new adult Choir, as well as training the junior performance group.
